Reach Magazine is happy to announce that singer/song writer Kristie Yung will be performing with Saba Nazarian at the June 16th 2011 Buzz Entrepreneur Event.

Kristie Yung is an acoustic-soul, singer/songwriter and former member of Vancouver-based girl group Am3ition and world music ensemble Jabulani. With a wealth of stage experience under her belt, Kristie has offered her unique twist on acoustic pop music on stages across Canada and Internationally.  Her influences include Justin Nozuka, Adele, Ebrahim, John Mayer, Kina Grannis and Ella Fitzgerald.  Beyond the many songs Kristie has covered on YouTube, she is also a songwriter and producer.  Kristie is currently co-writing and producing the title song for Mangoes, the television series, while writing for and recording her debut EP, entitled “The Set List Project”, which is set to be released early Fall, 2011.  To check out her full biography, visit www.kristieyung.com.  Kristie will be performing on June 16th at The Buzz Event accompanied by Saba Nazarian

 

Saba Nazarian, graduated from Columbia academy recording school, is a talented audio engineer/producer, musician & songwriter. He has incorporated a wide variety of his influences that begin with pink floyd, porcupine tree & john butler, and moves through the sounds from the East like Gipsy kings, Shpongle, Turkish and Egyptian tunes that has allowed him to have a unique style of music, a rich combination of rock and blues with middle eastern feel. He currently is a professional live sound engineer for the local trio band Coalition who are signed with the record label, “Arc Of The Universe” and are about to release their debut album in June 2011 . Furthermore, Saba has become an official member of Coalition band and has begun collaborating with composing their second full length album which is due to be recorded in the late august this year.
